Police have retrieved footage from several CCTV cameras installed near Shankargarh station. On Tuesday, several snake charmers were detained on suspicion. The incident occurred early Monday morning when a group of snake charmers boarded the general compartment of the train and robbed a dozen passengers of their money. The snake charmers had several dangerous snakes with them. Around 5:40 am, the snake charmers and their accomplices looted the passengers in a strange way. After robbing the passengers, the snake charmers pulled the chain before Shankargarh railway station and jumped off the train, escaping.
