WAG-9HC of Lallaguda based Hauls failed WAP-7 late running Mandovi Express (10104) arrives at Karmali Railway Station after a delay of 2½ hours due to locomotive failure of Ajni WAP- 7 after few minutes departing Madgaon Jn. it was stranded at Majorda Jn. for almost 2 hours for bringing in the WAG-9HC to the rescue. It is one of the only few trains remaining in Konkan Railways that uses EMD Traction i.e. WDP4D and the down Train (10103) also uses the same Diesel Engine as of now but the official notification was issued KR to run it with AC Traction w.e.f 08/10/2022 but maybe due to shortage of Electric Locomotive they still run it with EMD.
