Next best move will be regularising the special that is running at present between Hubballi and Bengaluru, such that the rani chennamma and belagavi superfast can take the entire load post Hubballi and this will remain a dedicated option for Hubballi other than 17391/92 which has very less SL coaches and primarily caters intermediates like DVG and RNR rather than UBL for SBC.
2 trains are not enough, either one more to Belgavi or regularise YPR Hubli with change in terminal. Bengaluru needs one more overnight train to Mangaluru dedicated. Mangaluru, Hubli, Belgavi, Raichur -Gulbarga are Tier -1 cities of KA and number of buses running in night both KSRTC and private and require 3rd train in night.
