This is the comparision between bus services and the palamu Express From DTO/GHD to patna IR fans can easily relate why palamu express is not getting pax becouse it is not serviing any purpose for palamu region. This this serving only intercity service between dehri on sone and patna....... This train can revive only if this train goes to Ranchi.. At least serve the Ranchi Dos purpose..

Agreed, I think extention to Ranchi could be useful as an overnight option between Ranchi-Patna along with Hatia-Islampur Exp. Though i am not sure about the patronage of that train either, whether there is enough public wanting to travel by train between these 2 cities.

Jab festivals me seat nhi milti to log specials me jate hai isme to jayenge hi.. and 2nd thing ki Ranchi to japla side and dehri ke liye to mst overnite serve karegi..ya isko at least 2 hr pahle hona chahiye... 11 bje tak garhwa road aye to log ise fir se lene lagenge.. Or singrauli wali bypass hone se bot nuksan hua h... Ni to pahle log ussko patna jane me lete the or isko ane ke time....
