You maybe partially correct but the thing is the route is sandwiched between 2 heavily important corridors of Indian railways HWH- GAYA- DDU- PRYJ and HWH - TATA- BSP- NGP so these are benefitted as they have trains dating 100 years back. Also they have fairly big cities en-route.

these were primarily laid for coal transport and same fate continued and then biasness started and railways neglected it like hell also everyone is aware that both mainlines I mentioned are super-saturated but still railway board launched new trains rather looking for alternate routes. If their vison has been broad and little far-fetched then situation would have better in CIC.

If train are started from HWH then next halts till Katni can be in ECR zone DHN ( NSG-2), CRP ( NSG- 3), BRKA ( NSG-4) , DTO ( NSG 3), GHD (NSG- 4), RNQ (NSG 4 from this year), CPU ( NSG 5 from this year) , SGRL ( NSG 4) , BEHR ( NSG- 4) , KTE ( NSG-3 ).

DHN BRKA 120 Km ( Can bypass BRKA with PTRU or RRME halt)

BRKA to DTO/GHD ~ 200 km

GHD/ DTO to RNQ ~ 120 km

RNQ to SGRL - 100 Km ( CPU bypassed )

SGRL to KTES 250 Km


There are other small stations to that can provide revenue too if trains start to ran, how anyone can expect for revenue with just scanty number of trains. Less trains so less revenue hence these are not developed. The days 10-15 trains added then CIC potential will be reveled.

Awareness & broad vision won't result in any good for this region . Infact i don't think that much educated & understanding people r sitting in Railway board. Had there been , situation would have been completely different today. As u know today Railway is driven by politics . So in that perspective it is very much important to have leaders like Nishikant Dubey . U can see the condition of Godda & Jasidih, it tells the whole story. Unlike CIC , where netas & mantris just ask & settle for small halts of mail/ exp trains , it is more important to ask for new trains & new facilities. Unless this happens, even a NSG 3/4 category stations will be useless.
