Finally!! Some relief for SL&2S Coaches!! (source: yet to be verified / Can be taken as a rumour for now)
Either the Gov learned that they're going in wrong direction(for now) or they already got their desired number of 3rd AC coaches. Anyways, let's look about the subject.
Coach production programme contains more SL&2S Coaches than AC coaches.

In 2023-24 Vande Bharat target by ICF is 800 coaches but in reality it may not cross 600 or less VB 2.0 5th rake to present 60th rake approx of which some are 16 coach including 4 spare rakes.
Another coach factory too was ordered to produce T18 sets but it didn't turn out any. Don't know what happened?
Anyhow, if ICF gets nod to operate at this same pace, they can easily cover their T18 order.
