The Saraighat Express keeps getting messed up during elections. In 2014, it was messed up during the General elections at Farakka and Kamakhya, in 2021 during the Bengal Elections at Falakata, in 2023 during the Bengal Panchayat Elections at Dhupguri, and in 2024 during the General elections at Sainthia. It's such a shame how politicians ruin a great train. Sounds like another disaster in the making with the Toofan Express.
