I could not get tickets on BPL Shatabdi (March 20) in Executive Class to Agra, so booked this VB (E1 and E2 had plenty of seats open). Similar story when I took RKMP VB from Agra... BPL Shatabdi had wait list (exec class) and VB was 30-40% occupied in E1/E2.
Just to clarify, E1 and E2 on March 20th journey in Nizamuddin Khajuraho Vande Bharat ??
Where did you find E2 ? It has an 8 Coacher Mini Vande Bharat Rake right ? How can there be E2 ?

This VB is placed just ahead of Shatabdi from Delhi upto Lalitpur and in return arrives before Shatabdi. So naturally being a new train with asthmatics travellers shift to this train. The real occupancy or success of ge train should be measured when it has 50% occupied beyond Lalitpur in branch line to Khajuraho for 165km which should be the parameter in judging and not the overall occupancy. Same with Mysuru Chennai beyond Benguluru.
Well, there aren't many alternatives from Delhi to Khajurao. There is only one train coming from Kurukshetra and that takes 5 hours more than this. Not surprising then that a 8 coach CC VB can get filled.
