Agree:As always Dumb WCR.
Why is this overtake even required both have sufficient time to reach PCOI and PRYJ on time ?
On top of that 12741 has non stop run between Satna to PCOI and 12539 has halt at Manikpur Jn between Satna to PRYJ.
This is the second time I have witnessed this nonsense unscheduled overtake in 4 to 5 weeks.
Seems like WCR

Yes increase in frequency badly needed, 12741 is always jam packed all year around may be less over crowding during monsoons but still the train is fully booked. Now, The sleeper has become the new general, 3rd AC is the new sleeper and 2nd AC is the new 3rd AC. I saw it personally the sleeper coaches were too overcrowded not even space to move through corridor people sitting near washrooms and door area forget about General Coaches, if anyone wants to get really a seat in General they have to board it in VSG itself because the VSG crowd is enough to fill all the General Coaches. 3rd AC is also upto some extent okay but I personally always prefer 2nd AC. If they increase the frequency, this might eliminate over-crowding. People won't have to think about crowding or not getting a ticket in this one, everyone will have...

peace of mind and railways will have revenue. It's the SWR again who won't even try experimenting or for a trial basis to convert it into tri-weekly the least or even twice a week is a good start to begin with. There is Patronage for this train but it's the Railways who should think about it.

Atleast a holiday special train should be run from Patna to Vasco for the next two months. Don't know why they never run such special trains on heavily demanded route like this.

Yes temporarily during the peak Summer Season rush can be easily cleared using Special trains not only from Patna but from Vasco too required upto Monsoons. It will be very graceful for Commuters if provided by SWR.

SWR will cry terminal constraints but ECR should definitely put up a proposal.
I don't understand why UP/Bihar politicians don't demand to increase the frequency of this train or to start a new one. It's definitely required considering the number of migrants working in Goa and also tourism potential in both Goa and UP.

MLA's or MP's won't be having any benefit for their vote bank by making any proposals, if it had been the case maybe we could've seen Daily Vasco-Patna .
