In IR we need six parallel tracks from NDLS to MAS . Two lines for superfast trains with speed of 200km/hr and stops at every 100km interval. Two tracks for slow passengers and goods trains. Two tracks for supporting for fast tracks for continuous maintenance. Crossed four parallel tracks from Kolkatta , Mumbai, bubhaneswar, ahmedabad, Hyderabad and so and so as many as links to the above NDLS-MAS tracks. If railway construct such a structure we can reach within 12 hours e whatever may be our source and destination. Means every 15 min one train has to pass on these tracks like Mumbai local trains. We may not required reservation also. Please request everybody.

the original blogger is requesting 6 tracks for a route which does not even have full passengers in its run (except two trains- even these two trains are not full in winters) it would have been understandable if he has suggested extra tracks fr the highest density traffic, ndls=cnb/mgs. even 4 tracks would make a massive difference. but as pointed out by the other blogger, making double tracks is needed instead of 6. instead of 6 tracks, for which more land is required and for which so many objections raise, court cases arises, an elevated track will do the trick where no unmanned/manned gates will be there, no animals will stray and get hit, and the extent of land rquired will also be less. Delhi has it all over in the Metro constructions where only pillars are raised and the land consumed is only the small area touching the ground....
