Which Shatabdi would you say has bummed down the most from it's initial run? I was torn b/w Lucknow Shatabdi and this one but chose this one. With additional stops, faster trains introduced; this train has become slower with lower priority given and passengers giving lesser preference. I am not much aware of Shatabdis running in South India, so can't say if any had a worse experience than this.

It’s an daily affair. VBs are given more priority over Shatabdi’s and other train. My question is why not to replace shatabdi rakes with VB rakes. Answer: what they’ll say about it in election speeches.
Chennai Benguluru has 2 Shatabdi in opp directions but only 1 stop is added in last 15 Years unlike New Delhi Lucknow, Bhopal., Amritsar. Couple of Shatabdi are converted as Jan Shatabdi/intercity.
Lucknow Shatabdi has been slowed down by like 40 minutes, over the years, nearly. And it used to originally used to undergo loco change at CNB when it was introduced; so much has been the impact of stops.
