Well the news says it belonged to railways only because railways always procures more than what they need for future scenarios. So maybe some of the houses were made illegally and some will be given compensation. Also the house was already evacuated no loss of life that is great thing but work should be done properly and thoroughly as this is residential area extra precautions should be taken and advanced machinery should be used to detect all the big rocks or boulders so that they can excavate it properly.
