So NFR has provided an extra rake for Farakka exp. Now it is running with 5 rakes. This rake can be used to run a new overnight train to Guwahati to provide connectivity to extreme Northern Bengal and Lower Assam districts.

It means Farakka will not be cancelled in winter for two days due to extra rake provided.Malda people's were so much frustrated that it will be cancelled in winter as it's gone to Balurghat from one side and another to Punjab.
