Sir,
There are two railway stations having name "Sabarmati" near Ahmedabad. Some trains passing by one station while some trains passing by second station. A layman passenger is always confused with the point in mind that - From which "Sabarmati" station a train will arrive / depart, because both are now broad gauge station. Earlier second Sabarmati station(which is near Dharmnagar area) was meter gauge type. Authority need to differentiate both the station by giving diff. name e.g. Sabarmati - A and Sabarmati - B or any other relevant names. So that confusion can not be arise at all in common passanger's mind. Even railway employee / personnel dont know i mean clear about this matter. Regards.

Dear Jay Shah,
Thanks for your opinion. You know or have knowledge of this. What about a common passenger ? Suppose, if I wish to travel to Anand by MEMU train coming from Gandhingar in the morning around 08:00 to 08:30 to Sabarmati. To which station I should go ? Dharmnagar side or Sabarmati Central Jail side ? This particular point should not arise to a starnger, that i mean. Both the station should have unique name, so ambiguity will never arise. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge / information.
