Bids were invited from private companies to run trains. Many companies participated and shown expression of intrest but only 2 companies submitted financial bids. They are certain specifications mentioned by IR gor which companies asked IR to give timeline for upgrade in infrastructure and consensus could not be reached by both parties. So IR cancelled the move to run private trains and went ahead with T20 -Vande Bharat Sleeper on its own.
