Ajmer-Sawai Madhopur line bahut time se demand hai, Congress aur BJP governments ne iski feasibility studies ki aur funds allocate kiye, but Rajasthan government ne land allocate nahi kiya, jiske karan project ka kaam nahi chal pa raha hai. Center ne funds allocate kiye hai, aur project ki cost badhti ja rahi hai, lekin state government ka support nahi milne ki wajah se project band hai, aur Tonk ke residents ko road se mehenge travel karne pad rahe hain.
