In addition to these projects, the SCR needs land for two other projects: the Kazipet-Vijayawada third line and the Bibinagar-Guntur doubling project. The SCR is also awaiting the completion of substations by the TG Transmission Corporation to allow for full electric train service on several sections. Finally, the SCR is seeking permission for the construction of 12 road under bridges at level crossings.
