Ye train Airport se Vimko Nagar aur Parangimalai se Central tak chalenge. Tamil Nadu government ne iske liye August 2022 mein approval diya tha, aur June 2023 mein Finance Commission ne bhi agree kar diya. Is project ke liye ₹2820 crore ka paisa international bank se loan lekar laaya jaayega. Isse aasha hai ki metro mein bheed kam ho jaayegi.
