The Railway Safety Commissioner, Dinesh Chand Deswal, recently inspected the Reasi-Sangaldan section, ensuring its readiness for operation. The remaining work on the 16 km Katra-Reasi section is being expedited, particularly the construction of tunnel number one near Katra. The project includes the construction of three helipads at the Kauri site of the world's highest railway arch bridge, with the timing being linked to the Prime Minister's potential visit.
