After the completion of the broad gauge conversion, only freight trains are currently operating between Mailani and Pilibhit. The absence of passenger trains has forced commuters to travel by road, putting their lives at risk. The lawyers are demanding at least two pairs of daily trains to enable commuters to reach the district headquarters by 10 am. They have also demanded the blacklisting of the construction company for the delay.
