Protesters halt goods train, effects seen in areas dominated by tribals in state
On Wednesday, protesters blocked railway tracks in Wadhwan town, Surendranagar district, halting a goods train. This action was part of a nationwide protest, called 'Bharat Bandh,' organized by Dalit and Adivasi groups against the Supreme Court's decision allowing sub-classification of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for reservation.
