baat kar rahe hain. First phase ab Technopark se Putharikandam Maidanam tak chalne wala hai, aur KMRL ko is new route ki feasibility check karke do mahine mein report submit karna hai. Government second phase ko Palayam se Kudappanakunnu tak badhane ka bhi soch raha hai, Killipalam se Neyyattinkara ki jagah. Logon ka kehna hai ki route mein baar baar badlaav karna scientific nahi hai aur isse metro ka construction aur der tak khinch sakta hai.
