Some thoughts on retiring room at the station
I had a room on the 2nd floor of the station. The eating alternatives aren't anything spectacular inside the station save for one eating place , so I walked some way outside of PF#1 to get cheap [though not tasty] food.

Are they giving rooms for single person? Because few years back I tried to get a room @MYS, they said no room for single person, but dormitory will be given !!!
I had booked a double room before hand since single room was showing non existent. When I went to Gwalior once, I too had to book a double room since single wasn't available there as well. So, I guess, if you are booking before hand online, you can book any from your choosing.
