सेंट्रल तक मेट्रो का ट्रैक तैयार

The Kanpur Metro has achieved a significant milestone by completing track construction on the 'up-line' to Kanpur Central station. This means the line from IIT to Kanpur Central is now ready for train operations. The third rail installation is also nearing completion. has begun with the laying of track slabs. The metro is expected to commence operations from IIT to Kanpur Central in the new year. Track construction for the underground section is progressing simultaneously with the civil work for the stations. The construction of both the 'up-line' and 'downline' between the ramp area in MacRobertganj and Nayaganj is complete, including the third rail installation. The construction of the 'up-line' between Nayaganj and Kanpur Central, spanning approximately 1250 meters, began in July and has been completed. On the 'downline', after completing rail laying and welding, the process of track slab laying has commenced. The Kanpur Metro utilizes ballast-less track for construction, and the track slabs incorporate derailment guards and provision for third rail installation. To reduce vibration and noise, a mass spring system is being used in the track. The Managing Director of UPMRC, Sushil Kumar, congratulated the engineering team for their remarkable progress. The next target is to complete the track slab laying on the 'downline' of this section. Once both lines are completed, the track from IIT to Kanpur Central will be fully ready for metro train operations. Recently, a successful test run of the Kanpur Metro train was conducted on the 'downline' from Motijheel to Nayaganj station. Currently, passenger services for the 24 km long Corridor-1 (IIT-Naubasta) are operating on the 9 km priority corridor (IIT-Motijheel).

Nayaganj se Kanpur Central ke beech 'down...

line' pe track slab dalna bhi shuru ho gaya hai. Underground section mein track banane ka kaam stations ke civil construction ke saath hi aage badh raha hai. MacRobertganj ke ramp area se Nayaganj tak 'up-line' aur 'downline' dono pe track banne ka kaam aur third rail lagaane ka kaam pura ho chuka hai. Nayaganj se Kanpur Central station ke beech 1250 meter lambi 'up-line' pe track banane ka kaam July mein shuru hua tha, jisko pura kar liya gaya hai. 'Down line' pe bhi rail bhichane aur welding karne ke baad ab track slab dalne ka kaam shuru kiya gaya hai. Kanpur Metro mein ballast-less track use kiya jaata hai. Track slabs pe derailment guard aur third rail lagaane ke bhi prabandh kiye gaye hain. UPMRC ke MD Sushil Kumar ne engineers ki team ko badhai di aur kaha ki 'up-line' pe track banne ka kaam pura hone ke baad ab unka next target 'down line' pe track slab dalna hai. Dono lines pe track banne ke baad IIT se Kanpur Central tak metro train ka rasta poora taiyaar ho jaayega. Kuchh dino pehle 'down line' pe Motijheel se Nayaganj station tak Kanpur Metro train ka test run safaltapurvak kiya gaya. 24 km lamba Corridor-1 (IIT-Naubasta) mein Kanpur Metro ki passenger services 9 km lamba priority corridor (IIT-Motijheel) pe chal rahi hai.
