Separately, five companies have submitted bids for the underground construction of the 30.91 km long Patna Metro Phase 1. The project involves two packages, PC05 and PC06, covering the 8 km underground section of Line 1, connecting Danapur Cantonment to Khemni Chak. The estimated cost for both packages is Rs. 1683 crore (PC-05) and Rs. 1377 crore (PC-06). Each package includes the construction of three underground stations and tunnels. The technical review of the bids is underway, and the lowest bidder will be selected as the contractor for each package.
