Warisliganj and Bihar Sharif is relatively short and the railway line would facilitate travel for Jain pilgrims visiting Lord Mahavira's birthplace. The residents have sent a signed petition to the Prime Minister, the MP of Nawada, and railway officials. The MP has promised to consider the request.
