According to Rly Sources,Today afternoon around 14 wagons of a freight got derailed near Debipur Station of Barddhaman-Howrah Main Line.Authorities rushed onto the spot just after hearing the news.restoration Work started in a war footed way.Due to the accident traffic movement in both Up & Dn Line came to a complete halt.Though there has been no calamity yet.But due to the sudden occurrence of the incident,Guard of the Goods train,Sri Ramprabhash Ojha got ill.
According to preliminary investigations,weakness in the soil is considered to be the main reason behind the incident.Few days ago,in a similar way One Goods Train got derailed near Andal Jn in Barddhaman-Asansol Section of the Eastern Railway.Due to the incident,train services came to a halt for around 2 days.
