from DEE to NDLS ,, if u are alone , u can bargain with the auto to Rs. 50-60 ,, theyll demand more at first ,,bbut u have to bargain it down . by metro , u have to go to sastri nagar stn (red line) which is 15 min walk from dee ,, from there , u take the ticket to new delhi and board the redline train to kashmere gate ,, at kashmere gate ,, get down and change over to the yellow line ,, that will take u to new delhi (ajmeri gate side)

Thanks for the instant response. From the details given I think it is better to go by auto, instead of changing train. Though I am alone.
