Hi ,
Please let me know about the food quality in this train. I heard there is no pantry car. so how is food being arranged?
I am travelling from Coimbatore to Delhi in 2AC.

Yes, no pantry car is there in the train, but you need not worry as food will be served accordingly by Vendors. Quality may not be upto the level.

Also It would be really helpful if I can get overall idea about the train i.e. whether it reaches late? security and other features..

When I travelled from ERS to NZM in 3A, South Indian Food dominated. But Chapathis might be available as North Indian food. Else you should buy from Stations.
My journey was good and secure(a slight problem only was food), average delay of the train is 30 minutes. Overall fine experience in 3A. Should be the same in 2A.

Want to mention one thing.. This is the first site concerning railways , after visiting which I am completely satisfied . and haven't seen more detailed info about Indian Railways anywhere else on net!!
