today was a great struggle with irctc for booking tkt for 17 may
I tried to book for 17 may in 12293 ald duranto with 322 seats avilable on open day i was confident of getting it but by 0802hrs it was wl 82.
After this i tried to book chain 12137-13202 dr-et-mzp. IN 13202 et-mzp 4 seats were aviable in 3A i tried 4 times in chrome but all attempts failed. after this i tried in IE and was successful in booking in first attempt...

today i was able to book tkt for second leg of my journey from ndls to gyn at 0807 hrs using IE from both booking i can confidently confirm that IE is better than chrome with irctc

thank you so much for sharing your experience. irctc at 8am is still somewhat dependable but at 10am its worthless...going through ur "reservation report" gives a real time experience about the problems a customer goes through and options plus back up plan one needs to keep open in these scenario...
