This train has got second position. First goes to New Delhi-Bhopal Shadabdi. Maximum Speed 140Kmh.
BPL shatabdi touches the max speed in the AGC - mathura section. No other train reaches this speed. Yes, the average speed of mumbai rajdhani is really good, but cant exceed the max speed of BPL shatabdi.
** correction: NDLS-AGC, Not MTJ-AGC... just a matter of 30 kms I think !
BHOPAL Shatabdi has max clearance on the route upto AGC.

wat is max speed of any train. do they use diff engines for satabdi
Bhopal - New Delhi Shatabdi Exp runs at 120 Kmph from NDLS to TKD (Tughlakabad Jn) . After crossing TKD , it's speed restriction is lifted and it runs at 150 Kmph bindaas uptil Agra Cantt (AGC) Station . After AGC , it runs at 130 Kmph on the AGC - JHS (Jhansi Jn) - BPL (Bhopal Jn) Route . Thanks .
