Recently I visited Howrah station. I am surprised about the situation of this station. Station is very large, but management is very low. Howrah town is very inhygenic,dirty,uncleaned and vogus town.Traffic management is very poor.What a hail Howrah city is! Terminal in Mumbai is far better than Howrah.Mumbai CST has 18 platforms,Mumbai LTT has 12 platforms, that is why they are better one.Howrah containing 23 platform,I remark that huge 23 platform is the only reason for bad condition of Howrah.Follow Mumbai,make more terminals within 20 platform at differnt location.I heard from passengers that Kolkatan depend for long travelling only on Howrah.Other terminals are lame.Why?????I can not get answer.Hope anybody will answer

Actually passengers do not face Howrah city much when getting to Kolkata. Even some do not know that Howrah is a different city. And Howrah station has one of the best bus services in the country (let alone comfort sometimes, if you please). Taxis are abundant here.
