i was seeing last yrs budget ' list of new trains and found that many trains which were promised have not yet been flagged off..... any update on when those trains will b started... as dis yrs budget is coming...
Could be pending due to rakes unavailability...Could start as soon as they are available...
so this list will increase every year.. this yr also around 75-80 new trains are expected to b announced.....
Yes could be but they are trying to increase production,also new coach factories are going to be started once they come in to force there could be a balance between demand and supply :)
This is in Words of RM in his speech in last budget...

74. Keeping in view the increased requirement of passenger coaches, a rail coach factory at Palakkad with the support of Government of Kerala is proposed to be set up. Similarly, two additional new manufacturing units for coaches are also proposed to be established in the Kutch area in Gujarat and at Kolar in Karnataka, the latter with the active participation of the state government.
