Seeing the numbers in brackets at every stations which shows the number of platform.
But instead if we put the platform no in the bracket from which the train departs or arrives then it will be more useful for passengers boarding the train.
Whats there in no of platform? Instead we can directly tell the platform no where the train arrives/ departs...

It is fact but what anybody can does if IR continues to changing platforms frequently than scheduled one.

my personal experience, lot of shifting platform takes place at ALD. Even when a given platform is available... God help...
