R means RAC
G15 means coach number
9 is your seat number.
Your ticket is confirmed under RAC. You have to share your side lower seat with other RAC passenger.

its not strange. i have travelled in GR in which 1-6 are in the bay, 7.8.9 are side berths next bay starts at 10 and so on. in this case, the attendant alongwith with his bedrolls etc occupies the space of one closed bay near the entrance door. this layout was in 2216. there are 4 different layouts in GR with 75, 78, 81, 84 berths. so its possible.
forgot to mention that the SMB (no.8) had his seat for day travel in the bay of 1-6 effectively making the bay to make 7 persons sit during the day and 6 persons sleep in the night.
