Hi,
I wanted to book a ticket from Ambala to Jaipur on the 6th (night 1 am) and thus was planning to book a ticket in tatkal but was told that i should book the ticket from ludhiana (leaves around 11 pm) since then i can book the ticket for the 5th on 3rd. I now have booked the ticket today on tatkal from ludhiana to jaipur (WL1) to travel on the 5th. I have two questions,
1. What are the chances of WL1 getting cleared in Tatkal ?

Chances are there...However please post your PNR no. in PNR Ananlysis section for better analysis.
In the second issue...you needed to have mentioned your Boarding point as Ambala while purchasing ticket.Otherwise there is a risk that the TTE might call it a no show and release your seat to someone else once the train leaves Ludhiana...Thank you
