We can expect cstm hubli express, extended till mas.
As there has been a long demand from people of hubli, a direct connectivity train frm mumbai to chennai via hubli.
So lets keep hope:).

There is bit confusion, SWR proposed two separate trains
1. UBL - LTT Exp via BGM, MRJ, PUNE. Got sanctioned in this budget
2. MAS - LTT Exp via RU, GTL, GDG, SUR, PUNE. Not approved
CR/SR is planning to start the weekly special for no.2, lets hope

i have never seen any summer special train announced for MAS - CSTM/ADI/NDLS sections.
Only MAS - TVC/ERS/NCJ and other such southern sections are considered when it comes to special trains ( also if any new train is to be proposed).
While the other two metros ( CSTM and HWH) have at least one duronto to CSTM, MAS has nothing except the 3 local type express trains

yes, but there are huge pressure from SWR to start a mas- ltt weekly express train, via gtl, gdg, sur as the area does fall into swr region, hope for the best
