Why does this duranto takes 7 hr 40 min to cover 493km between NDLS-LKO while 2268 BCT-ADI duranto takes 6 hr 35 min to cover 491km and is infact the fastest on ADI-BCT section?

But how come the difference between time taken by these two trains covering the same distance on different sections i.e NDLS-MB-LKO( Diesel line) and ADI-BRC-BCT
(Electric line) comes to a good 1 hr considering that even diesel trains can speed upto 100kmph and there isn't much traffic on NDLS-MB-LKO as compared to ADI-BRC-BCT section?
