Yes, if it is a PRS or I-ticket.
No, if it is an e-ticket if you are the only passenger.
Yes, even in case of an e-ticket but with partial confirmation (i.e., at least one passenger confirmed and rest WL) as long as you adjust within yourselves and not disturb others.
