How can we avail for the lower birth quota. I am 22 years Old . can i book the ticket by using lower birth quota???

To fully elucidate what I said above, there is a certain allocation of LBs for ladies and senior citizens. Not all LBS are reserved for these people only.

While making reservation you can opt for Lower Berth, but it is not guaranteed.
even though i am not a sr citizen, i have been allotted LB just by opting for lb while booking with proper planning of journey. of course there have been instances when i did not get also, but the point is, lb is not necesarily reserved for sr citizens or ladies. everybody has equal preference for lb provided lb is available.
the point you are coming to say is , if i mention the lower birth quota while reservation, if there is a vacancies in lower birth quote , they will allot me a birth .
