Does the office of Chief Commercial Manager works on Saturday? I gave an application for confirmation of my WL ticket from HO quota in a train on Sunday to PRO office of Central Railway in Mumbai at 6pm on Friday. He said his office is closed till Monday and asked me to drop that in a box of the CRM office. He did recommend my application but if the CRM office also remains closed on week -end what's the process to dispose such applications.
