Hi, can u tell from which platform of CST, train 2261 departs for Howrah?
As per the information we have it departs from PF 12. however please do check the display boards for the same
CSTM/HWH are the best place, not to worry about PF (U dont land @ PF#1 as in most Terminus/Junction)!!
As u enter in the common lobby, where u have the access to display board!!
Watch the display & move to the particular platform!!

platform 1 to 6 on cstm are used for CR local trains.7-onwards it is for long distance trains
