No issue u can board
some month back i also booked ticket from ltt-nk(nasik) and board the train at thane
and also,after crossing 2 3 stn tte will tick not turn up to the passenger name
so no issue u can board from panvel

Yes for E-tickets also BP can be changed carry copy of E-ticket & Your ID,Submit written requisition for change of BP at nearest PRS...
It is difficult now that you have less than 24 hours for your journey. Change of BP is permitted upto 24 hours before journey.
However, u can board at Panvel. Most probabbly TTE will consider alloting ur seat to someone after Panvel only.

Yes what you said is correct TTE always consider after PNVL for Konkan bound trains for allotting seats.
