2 general coaches removed. pathetic. making life hell for unreserved poor passengers. is it fair of ir to torture the non ac unreserved class passengers? poorva can never manage ur rush with just a single ur coach...

Yes Kalka Shatabdi use self generating power no need of EOG. The advance version of LHB rake.
a HOG with WAP-7 and kalka shatabdi was under trail in past. at that point EOG was not a necessity, and was removed.
However, i am not aware of the present scenario, maybe railways is again trying that pilot test of HOG

Yeah, EOG is present in the rake & is for back-up purpose!!
Someday will check if the EOG remains on or off!!

99% i can say tht EOG is still there, but yes there is still 1% of uncertainty
