Student ID for Tatkal Ticket.
Hi,
One of my cousin has to travel with Tatkal ticket. But he doesn't have any other ID except School ID card. And this school Id card doesn't have any Serial Number. So can he travel? or can I put his roll no in the ‘ID card No’ while booking the ticket.
Please guide me…!!!

yes in general case most of the schools id card d'nt have a serial number , you can write the roll no but it will be better if you ask it in the counter itself
