I've booked a ticket(See this) and its GNWL 163 for journey on 16th May.
The passenger here is a senior citizen.
Is there any chance that this passenger will get priority for confirmation when the charting is done being a senior citizen?

Oh no vacant seat then in LB quota...have to wait till chart preparation...
There are some seats sorted out in the beginning for each quota. Like tatkal, lb, ho, dp etc.
Yes,If a LB Quota Berth is cancelled, it stays un-allocated till Chart preparation and hence a high chance to get allocated to the Next pax if he/she is eligible for LB or else released for any other WL pax.
True...it stays un-allocated, but anyone can book in that quota if passenger is eligible for the same right...not that it remains unallotted right?
Once Used and cancelled , it will say NOT AVAILABLE but allocation will happen During Charting for such Quota Pax.
