4 bogies of UP Kolkata-Haldibari express derailed, derailed in between Nalhati & chatra station in Birbhum district of West Bengal.

Thanks for this info. I had heard about it but I couldn't find anything on TV News last night. Tracks of this route are in a DREADED condition from the past many years BUT who will listen when the Rail Ministry is in such a disarrayed form ? Total Mismgmt ... :-p
Investigation agency had news about some blast to be occurred.-it was showing in news channel.Although the reason derailment occurred not known.
Could be just to give credit to the original blog poster for putting in the effort of posting the news here...
