I was getting bored in my house, so suddenly a thought came into my mind. Planned a short journey(very short though) from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Delhi Cantt by DEE-Rewari Passenger. Took a metro from AIIMS to Shastri Nagar. Walked the distance from Shastri Nagar to DEE(though entering through Vivekandpuri side would have saved a lot of energy). The road leading to the stn is very narrow. DEE itself gives a small station feel, don't know how can NR decide to terminate Double Decker and Durontos here. Empty rake of Sri Ganganagar-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Exp was standing at pf-5. Later the empty rake of DEE-RE passr was shunted on Pf-1 hauled by a TKD WDM2. Few passengers boarded the...

train here. It started at 12:15 sharp and reached DEC at 12:35. There is nothing to describe about the journey as the journey was too short. Moreover, the coach was almost empty. Most of the passengers boarded from DEC as reaching DEE is a headache for most of the ppl. Delhi Cantt stn. was completely empty aftr the departure of the passenger. Slowly went to the Nangal Raya Bus stop. There I saw a couple wanting to go to Delhi Safdarjung stn to board a train, but as they were new to the city, they had no knowledge of the whereabouts of the stn. They frustrated asked the ppl standing there, autowalas etc but to no avail. The autowalas even asked them to check the tickets and mocked them by saying "shayad aapki train Safdarjung hospital se chalti hogi." How rude of them, I rescued them and took them with me in a bus to DSJ(the reason is DSJ is just a stone's throw away from my residence). Before leaving I wished them "happy journey" and they thanked me for my kindness :P chhati chauri ho gyi thi meri :D
