s railway is accepting e ticket SMS send by IRCTC to passenger mobile/laptop or Print of same.
To continue green revolution I suggest railway should start selling of Unreserved ticket (more than 200 KM) & Plate Form ticket through internet ticketing (e-ticketing). Along with Photo ID of passenger and its Id Number. This will reduce traffic at railway ticket counters as well as railway station. & also Accept The SMS send by IRCTC to passengers mobile.
Massage should contain following Information.

Platform ticket is bit tough to consider as good number of times people enter keeping some available train in mind or to meet some one...
in case of plate form ticket that will be on Time based i.e valid for two hours
