of Mohammed Adil Shah, Sultan of Bijapur. The tomb, located in Bijapur, Karnataka in India, was completed in 1656 by the architect Yaqut of Dabul. Although "impressively simple in design", it is the "structural triumph of Deccan architecture".[1]

☻ Route: before this train was from YPR to BJP via ASK, DVG, GDG but further it was extended till SUR.. Thus it connects Karnataka with Maharashtra.
☻ The Golgumbaz Express was a regular train when there was meter gauge line between SUR & GDG. It had Gen , SL and FC coaches and was hauled by a steam locomotive.
☻ Now a days it belongs to SWR and is being hauled by KJM/UBL WDP4/4B
